- Ayako Fujitani. Fujitani is a model,writer and actress. She is also the daughter of actor Steven Segal and was born in Osaka, Japan in 1979. Along with writer and director Hideaki Anno, Ayako co-adapted her novella Touhimu (Flee-Dream) into the film Shiki-Jitsu in 2000. It was the first non-animated feature released by Studio Ghibli under the Studio Kajino label. She also stars in the title role. Shiki-Jitsu won the Artistic Award at the 30th Tokyo International Film Festival and showed at the Hong Kong International Film Festival.

- Ayako Nishikawa (西� �� or �����や�, Nishikawa Ayako, 5 April 1971) is a Japanese female TV star as a tarento and comedienne and a cosmetic surgeon. She is unusual in Japan in that she is willing to appear on television, as professional doctors generally show some hesitancy to appear.

Nishikawa is often seen on Sunday afternoon variety shows giving commentary on medical issues especially those related to cosmetic and plastic surgery which is becoming increasing popular in Japan.
